Xanthan Gum
Product Description of Xanthan Gum :
Xanthan gum for petroleum drilling and production is an efficient, high-quality and environment-friendly additive for petroleum drilling and production mud. It has a wide range of applications and is extremely resistant to temperature, acid, alkali and salt. It can significantly improve the permeability of mud and the ability of suspended solids, reduce the pressure during drilling, stabilize the wellbore, reduce the damage to the reservoir, and thus significantly improve the efficiency of drilling, workover and completion. This product has a good mud additive. It can keep stable for a long time under the temperature of saturated salt water and 85 ℃. Therefore, it is an ideal oil displacement agent for high temperature and high salt oil fields. Xanthan gum is currently internationally integrated with thickening, suspension, emulsification and stability. The best performance of bio glue.
Application of Xanthan Gum :
Xanthan gum is used in oil & gas as a fluid loss additive (viscosifier) in drilling mud to mitigate loss circulation and as a set retarder in cementing systems. Xanthan Gum is also used in as a thickener and stabilizer in the food and cosmetics industry.
